The Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra was one of the headline acts at the 2012 National Jazz Summit in May. Performing to a sold-out house, the group was a hit with the audience, drawing fans from both the blues and jazz communities along with those who simply love great music. This is a highly recommended ensemble for your party, corporate function, wedding or any other event that you want to leave your guests with a great impression!

To whom it may concern:

The Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra's performance at the 2012 Calgary International Blues Festival was magical and inspirational; in fact it seemed to bring the sun out on an otherwise cloudy day.

Donald Ray Johnson while paying homage to one of the greatest musicians of all time, sang with mastery and conviction, and one can be fairly certain it would have made Ray Charles himself, sit up and take notice.

Thanks for a great performance by the Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra at the 10th annual Jazz At The Lake Festival this year. The audience at our sold out "Blues Bash" loved the band; all the feedback we have received has been enthusiastically positive. Donald Ray and the band were in fine form, and a special treat was the addition of the "Donald Raylettes" who lent authenticity to the arrangements and were fun to watch. Best of luck with the band--you've got a real winner here!

Dear John/Don;

What an event! Just wanted to thank both of you for a rousing evening and successful night at the club March 9th and 10th, 2012.

I only wish we had more space for our clients that unfortunately were not able to squeeze into the venue as both nights sold out.

The band was thoroughly professional in their approach, and the night reminded us all of those wonderful days when Ray Charles was sharing his gift with the world.

All the success to the band in the future. Now that I am “paying client”, and not coordinating events at Beat Niq, I’ll be looking forward to seeing the band at a future date.

Regards,
